Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, returns and COD (Cash on Delivery) are handled at SKR Projects Hub. It applies to purchases made via www.skrprojectshub.com. By placing an order you agree to the terms described below.

1. Quick summary

  • Physical products (kits, ready-made projects, components): sold and shipped only within India. Returns accepted within 72 hours of delivery for valid reasons (defect, transit damage, wrong item) with required proof (unboxing video). Courier & return shipping costs apply as described below.
  • Digital products (Arduino/Python codes, eBooks, PPTs, templates): delivered electronically and non-refundable once delivered.
  • Prepaid orders: refunds processed to the original payment method via the payment gateway (Razorpay or other gateway used) after verification and inspection.
  • COD orders: may be offered at merchant discretion for physical items. COD refunds (if applicable) require additional verification and may take longer to process.

2. How to request a cancellation or return

To request cancellation or report an issue, contact our support team immediately with your Order ID and supporting evidence:

Include in your message: Order ID, purchase date, product name, a short description of the problem, and a clear unboxing video (where applicable). Requests without required evidence may be denied.

3. Cancellation rules

  • Before dispatch: If you want to cancel an order, contact us immediately. If the item has not been shipped, we will cancel and refund the order amount to the original payment method (payment processor timelines may apply).
  • After dispatch: Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled remotely. You may refuse delivery or initiate a return after delivery (see Return process). Refunds for shipped orders are processed after the item is returned and inspected.
  • COD orders: If COD was selected and the buyer refuses delivery or cancels after shipment, SKR Projects Hub may apply courier and handling charges and will process refunds (if any) according to courier and payment partner policies. COD refunds require identity verification and may take longer to process than prepaid refunds.

4. Return eligibility (physical products)

We accept returns only when one or more of the following apply:

  • Product arrived damaged in transit;
  • Product is defective or non-functional on delivery;
  • Wrong product was delivered.

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Buyer remorse or change of mind (unless expressly agreed in writing);
  • Damage caused by misuse, modification, or mishandling after delivery;
  • Missing proof of unboxing (unboxing video) when required;
  • Consumables or items explicitly marked non-returnable on the product page.

5. Return process (step-by-step)

  1. Contact support: Notify us within 72 hours of delivery with Order ID and unboxing video at contact@skrprojectshub.com and call 8535889926.
  2. Verification: Our team reviews the evidence and confirms whether the return is eligible. We will respond with return instructions and an RMA number if approved.
  3. Ship back the item: The customer must send the item to our specified address using a tracked courier. Unless agreed otherwise, return shipping costs are paid by the customer and will be deducted from the refund.
  4. Inspection: Once we receive the item, we will inspect it. If the return claim is valid, we will process the refund or replacement per these terms.
  5. Refund or replacement: Refunds (or replacements if requested and available) are processed after inspection. The amount refunded will exclude any applicable courier deductions and return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

Example: If a prepaid order of ₹2,000 is returned and an approved deduction of ₹200 courier charge applies plus ₹150 return shipping, the refundable amount will be ₹1,650 (₹2,000 − ₹200 − ₹150).

7. Refund timelines & method

  • Prepaid orders: Refunds are made to the original payment method (via the payment gateway used at checkout) after inspection and approval. The merchant processes refunds as soon as practicable; bank/card settlement times may cause funds to reflect in your account in 5–14 business days depending on the payment provider.
  • COD orders: If a COD order is eligible for refund, SKR Projects Hub will advise the refund method. COD refunds may be issued via bank transfer, reversal through courier partner, or other methods depending on the courier/payment partner — additional verification may be required and timelines may be longer.
  • Partial refunds: When applicable (e.g., missing accessories, partial damage), a partial refund will be issued reflecting the assessed value of the missing/damaged portion.

8. Replacement & Repair

When an item is defective or wrong, you may request a replacement (subject to stock availability) instead of a refund. We may offer repair for certain items where feasible. Replacement or repair is provided at SKR Projects Hub's discretion and subject to inspection.

9. Lost or damaged shipments

If your shipment is lost or damaged on delivery, notify us within 72 hours of the delivery date with supporting evidence (photos, unboxing video, tracking details). We will coordinate with the courier to investigate and resolve the issue. Investigation timelines depend on courier response.

10. Digital products - no refunds

Digital products (downloadable codes, eBooks, PPTs, templates) are non-refundable once delivered. Purchases are final because digital content can be duplicated and retained. Please ensure you review product descriptions, sample files and tutorial videos before purchasing.

11. COD-specific notes

  • COD may be enabled for certain physical orders at SKR Projects Hub's discretion and depends on courier availability and delivery location.
  • COD orders may attract additional COD fees charged by the courier or merchant — this will be displayed during checkout if applicable.
  • If COD delivery is refused or returned because of incorrect address or inability to contact the buyer, SKR Projects Hub may deduct courier and handling fees before any refund is issued.
  • SKR Projects Hub reserves the right to refuse COD or convert an order to prepaid where fraud is suspected or verification fails.

12. Exceptions & non-returnable items

  • Digital items after delivery;
  • Items damaged due to user misuse, modification, or improper installation;
  • Products returned without required unboxing evidence when such evidence was requested;
  • Clearly consumable items or items marked non-returnable on product pages.

13. How to speed up your refund

  1. Keep the unboxing video clear — show package condition, tracking label, and item condition immediately after opening.
  2. Contact us promptly (within 72 hours of delivery) with Order ID and media files.
  3. Use tracked courier service when returning items and share tracking details with us.
