Digital Products Policy & Licensing

This Digital Products Policy explains how SKR Projects Hub sells, delivers and licenses digital products (collectively “Digital Products”), and the terms that apply to downloads, usage, refunds, and support. Digital Products include but are not limited to: Arduino code, Python code, project source files, eBooks, PPTs, libraries, and other downloadable materials sold at www.skrprojectshub.com.

1. Delivery & Access

• Delivery methods: After successful payment, Digital Products are delivered either via the buyer’s registered email address and/or made available in the buyer’s account under My Account → Downloads. Delivery is typically instant but may be delayed in rare cases due to payment verification.
• Download access: Download links and account access allow buyers to retrieve purchased files. The merchant may set download limits or expiration for links; specific limits (if any) are stated on the product page at the time of purchase.
• Account responsibility: It is the buyer’s responsibility to keep account credentials secure and to maintain backups of purchased files. SKR Projects Hub is not responsible for lost files due to user account issues.

2. No Refunds for Delivered Digital Products

All sales of Digital Products are final. Once a Digital Product has been delivered or made available for download, SKR Projects Hub does not provide refunds. By completing a purchase you acknowledge and accept that digital items cannot be returned or ‘taken back’ in the same way as physical goods.

3. Faulty or Corrupt Files — Reissues

If a delivered file is corrupt, incomplete or fails to download, contact us at contact@skrprojectshub.com with your Order ID and proof (screenshot/error message). We will investigate and, where appropriate, reissue the corrected file or provide a replacement download. Reissues are provided at SKR Projects Hub’s discretion and do not constitute a refund.

4. License Grant & Restrictions

• Standard license: Unless otherwise stated on the product page or an accompanying license file, purchase of a Digital Product grants you a single-user, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the purchased files for your own personal, educational, or internal commercial projects that you build yourself.
• Prohibited uses: You may NOT resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, share, or otherwise make the purchased files available to third parties (including colleagues, customers or students) unless you have purchased a separate commercial, multi-user or redistribution license from SKR Projects Hub.
• Attribution: Where the product description requires attribution, you must credit SKR Projects Hub/SKR Electronics Lab in derivative works or project descriptions as described on the product page.
• Modification: You may modify code or files for your own use, provided you do not remove or alter copyright notices or relicense the work.
• Commercial licensing: If you intend to incorporate purchased materials into products for sale or for wide distribution, contact us to discuss a commercial or multi-user license. Commercial use without a proper license is a breach of these Terms and may lead to legal action.

5. Third-Party Libraries & Dependencies

Some Digital Products may depend on third-party libraries, frameworks or tools. These dependencies are subject to their own licenses and obligations. It is your responsibility to comply with third-party license requirements. SKR Projects Hub is not responsible for changes or compatibility issues in third-party libraries after purchase.

6. Support & Updates

• Included support: Basic setup instructions and links to tutorial videos (where applicable) are provided with most Digital Products. This support covers installation and usage as described in the product documentation.
• Limited troubleshooting: Troubleshooting support for errors specific to the delivered files is provided as described on the product page. Detailed one-to-one development, custom coding, or advanced debugging is not included with standard purchases but can be arranged as paid services.
• Updates: SKR Projects Hub may release updates or new versions. Availability of updates (free or paid) will be specified on the product page or communicated to buyers. SKR Projects Hub is not obliged to provide indefinite updates unless stated.

7. International Sales & Taxes

Digital Products are generally available worldwide unless restricted by export controls or local law. International buyers are responsible for any applicable local taxes, VAT, or other charges imposed by their country. Payment gateways may perform currency conversion and the buyer’s bank may charge conversion fees; these are not controlled by SKR Projects Hub.

8. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Ownership of the underlying intellectual property in Digital Products remains with SKR Projects Hub or the relevant licensor. A purchase does not transfer ownership of copyrights — it only grants the limited license described above.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Unauthorized distribution, public posting, or resale of purchased material is strictly prohibited. If SKR Projects Hub reasonably believes you have violated these terms, we may suspend your account, revoke access to downloads, and seek legal remedies including damages and injunctive relief.

10. Security & Liability

While SKR Projects Hub takes reasonable precautions to ensure files are safe and free from known malware, we do not guarantee absolute security. You must scan downloaded files with up-to-date security software before use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKR Projects Hub is not liable for any damage to hardware, software, data loss, or other losses arising from use of downloaded files.

11. Refund Exceptions

Except as described in Section 3 (Faulty or Corrupt Files — Reissues), SKR Projects Hub does not offer refunds for delivered Digital Products. If you believe you have a very exceptional case, contact support with full details; we will review and respond, but acceptance is at our sole discretion.

12. Export Controls & Local Laws

Certain Digital Products may be subject to export restrictions or controlled technologies. Buyers are responsible for complying with applicable export control laws and local regulations. SKR Projects Hub reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders that may violate export or local laws.
