SKR Projects Hub ("we", "us", "our") is committed to keeping your payment and transaction data secure. This Payment & Security Policy explains which payment methods we accept, how payments are processed, the security measures we use, and what you should do if you suspect unauthorized activity.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payments via third-party payment gateways enabled on our Website. Typical methods (depending on the gateway and merchant settings) may include:

• Credit / Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, etc.)
• UPI, Netbanking and Wallets
• Bank transfers (if enabled)
• PayPal or other international methods if enabled by the merchant or gateway
• Cash on Delivery (COD) — offered at our discretion for certain physical orders only (see COD notes below)

2. Payment Processing & Gateways

All card and electronic payments are processed by third-party payment providers (for example, Razorpay and any other gateways you enable). SKR Projects Hub does not process or store full card numbers, CVV codes or other sensitive payment credentials on its servers. Payment gateways handle card authorization, tokenization and settlement.

We retain limited transaction metadata (transaction IDs, status, order ID, amount, refund references) to support refunds, disputes, accounting and customer support.

3. PCI & Data Security

• Payment processors we use comply with relevant security standards (for example PCI-DSS) where required. Please refer to your payment provider's documentation for details on encryption, tokenization and certification.
• Our Website uses HTTPS (SSL/TLS) to encrypt data transmitted between your browser and our servers. Always ensure the site URL begins with https:// before entering payment details.
• We implement standard security controls on our systems (access control, encrypted backups of sensitive non-payment data, vendor security agreements). However, no system is 100% secure — absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

4. COD (Cash on Delivery) — Security Notes

COD may be offered for eligible physical orders at SKR Projects Hub's discretion. Important COD security points:

• COD is not available for digital products.
• COD availability depends on delivery location, order value and courier partner rules.
• COD orders may be subject to identity verification at delivery (ID and signature). SKR Projects Hub reserves the right to refuse COD or convert a COD order to prepaid if verification fails or if fraud is suspected.
• COD may carry additional fees (displayed at checkout). COD refunds (if applicable) may require additional verification and may take longer than prepaid refunds.

5. Refunds & Chargebacks

Refunds are processed via the payment gateway and returned to the original payment method wherever possible. Refund timelines depend on the payment provider and your bank — typically 5–14 business days for bank/card reversals but may vary.

If you dispute a charge with your bank (chargeback), we may ask for documentation (order confirmation, tracking, correspondence) to verify the transaction. If a chargeback is found to be unjustified, we may contest it and attempt to recover the disputed amount.

6. Fraud Prevention & Order Verification

We take fraud prevention seriously. To protect buyers and the business, we may:

• Perform identity and fraud checks on high-risk orders (address verification, device fingerprinting, transaction history checks);
• Request additional verification (photo ID, phone verification, or other information) before shipping high-value items or when COD is selected;
• Place orders on hold while verification is completed; in such cases we will contact you for next steps.

We will not ship an order until payment authorization and basic verification checks are complete.

• Verify payment page URL shows https:// and the site domain is correct before entering payment details.
• Keep order confirmation emails and payment receipts for your records.
• Report suspicious activity or unauthorized charges to your bank immediately and notify us at contact@skrprojectshub.com.
• Use strong, unique passwords for your account and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) where available on your email or payment accounts.

9. Reporting Payment Problems

If you notice an unauthorized transaction, payment failure or any discrepancy, contact us immediately with order details and screenshots where possible:

We will escalate payment issues to the payment gateway and assist with investigations, but banks/payment providers have final authority over disputes and refunds.

10. International Transactions & Currency

Digital products may be purchased internationally using payment methods supported by the payment gateway. Currency conversion and any bank or card fees are determined by your bank or payment provider. SKR Projects Hub is not responsible for bank or conversion fees charged by your financial institution.

11. Vendor & Third-Party Links

We work with trusted third-party vendors (payment gateways, fraud screens, hosting providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply for the services they provide. We recommend reviewing your payment provider’s security and privacy documentation for full details.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Payment & Security Policy as our practices or payment providers change. The version posted on the Website with the effective date is the governing version.
