Product Description
IoT Based Automatic Fire Extinguisher – Arduino Code
The IoT-Based Automatic Fire Extinguisher System is an advanced Arduino and IoT safety project designed for automatic fire detection and suppression with real-time mobile alerts.
This project demonstrates the power of automation combined with smart connectivity using the NodeMCU ESP8266 and Blynk IoT platform.
How the Project Works
When the Flame Sensor detects a fire, it sends a high signal to the NodeMCU’s digital input pin.
The NodeMCU immediately performs two key actions — it activates the 5V Buzzer to sound an alarm and switches on the 5V Water Pump via a TIP41 Transistor to spray water and extinguish the fire.
Simultaneously, the NodeMCU connects to the internet using Wi-Fi and sends an instant “Fire Detected” notification to the user’s smartphone through the Blynk App.
This ensures that users are alerted immediately, even when they are away from the system — providing both local and remote protection.
Project Features
- Automatic fire detection using a Flame Sensor.
- Activates both Buzzer and Water Pump to extinguish fire instantly.
- Real-time IoT notifications via Blynk App on mobile devices.
- Controlled by NodeMCU ESP8266 with built-in Wi-Fi.
- Demonstrates smart automation and IoT safety integration.
